we are 100 lives.
A COMPANY of actors dedicated to creating raw, emotionally honest work centered on the craft of acting and the work of women artists over 40. We’re launching a movement that champions: depth over flash, experience over novelty, and connection over comfort.
We’re COMMITTED TO CHARACTER-DRIVEN PLAYs, STRIPPED OF SPECTACLE TO CREATE INTIMATE INTERSECTIONS OF LIFE AND STORY. Messy and real and alive with craft, we play in small spaces to maximize intimacy, bringing you close enough to feel every shift, every breath.

ATMag Interview: Why start a theatre company now?
American Theatre Magazine talks with 100 Lives about starting a theatre company in today’s cultural landscape
“In Portland, Oregon, and acting-studio-turned-performance-space was a major catalyst for creating the recently established 100 Lives Repertory, which produces work “centered on the craft of acting and the work of women over 40.”
“As [co-founder] Brooke Totman tells it, “We talked about the kind of theatre that inspires us, the kind of art we’d want to create. The more we talked about it, the more we realized we were on the same page. By the end of the meeting we were like, well, let’s just become a non-profit and do this as a theatre company.”
